Anna Curnow is the CEO of Plain Jane®, bringing over 25 years of hands-on experience in the hemp and cannabis industry. Her journey began in 1998 as a Voter Power volunteer, advocating for medical cannabis access in Oregon—a grassroots effort that helped shape the state's progressive hemp policies.

Before joining Plain Jane, Anna co-founded Haze Hill Farms, where she built patient-focused cultivation operations, and founded Stoni Medicals, demonstrating her deep expertise in both cultivation and business operations. In 2018, she transitioned from medical marijuana cultivation to pioneering hemp cultivar cloning, joining Plain Jane in 2020 and stepping into the CEO role in 2023.

Parallel to her cannabis career, Anna has been immersed in e-commerce since 1998, with expertise spanning technical writing, network administration, graphic design, SEO, and web development. This unique combination gives her a practitioner's understanding of compliance, user experience, and sustainable growth at scale.

As CEO, Anna personally oversees product quality—having tested over 200 hemp strains and maintaining Plain Jane's rigorous standards by rejecting 35% of potential batches that don't meet quality benchmarks. Under her leadership, Plain Jane has served over 200,000 customers while maintaining a reputation for transparency and education-first approach.
