Refund policy

Plain Jane accepts eligible returns requested within 7 days of delivery. To qualify, an item must be unopened, unused, in its original sealed packaging, and accompanied by the order number or other proof of purchase.

Starting a return

Email hi@plainjane.com within the 7-day window and include your order number and the item you want to return. Please wait for return instructions before sending anything. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

If we provide a prepaid return label, its cost will be deducted from the approved refund unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed damaged or defective item. If you arrange your own return, use a trackable service. For returns valued over $75, shipping insurance is recommended. Plain Jane cannot guarantee receipt of an untracked return.

Hemp products and non-returnable items

For safety, quality, and chain-of-custody reasons, we cannot accept hemp flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, oils, gummies, capsules, topicals, or other consumable or personal-use products after their seal has been broken or the product has been opened or used. Gift cards and items identified as final sale are also non-returnable.

Hemp flower is a natural agricultural product. Appearance, aroma, moisture, trim, density, and cannabinoid or terpene measurements may vary by harvest and batch. Review the product page and the available batch certificate of analysis before ordering. Personal preference, expected effects, or normal batch variation does not by itself make a product defective.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders

Inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect, contact hi@plainjane.com promptly and within 7 days of delivery. Include the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos when applicable. We will review the claim and, when approved, provide an appropriate replacement or refund.

Refunds

After an eligible return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 3–10 business days after approval for the credit to appear; timing may vary by bank or card issuer.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or the return resulted from our error. Coupon and discount codes have no cash value and cannot be refunded or applied retroactively.

Order source

This policy applies only to purchases made directly through plainjane.com. Purchases made through an independent retail store or other third party must be handled by that seller under its own return policy.
