Plain Jane is a US-based online cannabis and hemp company built to make shopping for flower clearer. We offer THCa flower, pre-rolls, CBD, edibles, concentrates, topicals, and other cannabinoid products to adults 21 and older in eligible destinations.
Our approach is simple: show the flower, explain how it is classified, make the price easy to compare, and provide the product and batch information available for the item you are considering.
Where Plain Jane started
Plain Jane began in 2018 with hemp flower and CBD. At the time, high markups, unclear product information, and inconsistent quality made hemp harder to shop than it needed to be. The company started with a straightforward idea: make good flower more accessible, keep pricing practical, and give customers enough information to make their own decision.
That history still matters. Years spent working with flower, pre-rolls, oils, edibles, laboratories, farms, and fulfillment created the operating foundation behind the store today. CBD remains an important Plain Jane category, but it no longer describes the whole company.
What Plain Jane sells today
THCa flower is now the center of the shopping experience. Customers can compare current strains by grade, bud size, strain family, price, photography, and available batch information. Pre-rolls and other cannabis-focused formats sit alongside a broad CBD selection, cannabinoid oils, gummies, capsules, concentrates, and topicals.
The goal is not to bury customers under product jargon. It is to make the important differences visible.
Five flower grades
Plain Jane uses five retail flower grades:
- Exotic is the top tier for standout aroma, flavor, resin, flower structure, trim, and bag appeal.
- Indoor emphasizes controlled growing conditions, consistency, dense structure, and strong everyday quality.
- Light Assist combines natural sunlight with supplemental lighting and environmental protection to balance quality with cultivation cost.
- Greenhouse uses protected sun-grown cultivation to deliver flavorful flower and practical value.
- Budget accepts more variation in appearance or trim to push the price lower without turning potency into the definition of quality.
Grade is a merchandising tool, not a laboratory potency score. A product's current cannabinoid result belongs to the identified batch report.
Bud size is a separate choice
Full-Size Buds, Medium Buds, and Smalls describe the physical nugs in the bag. Smaller buds can come from the same plant and harvest as larger buds, which is why bud size should not be confused with grade. Smalls can offer a lower price while preserving the strain and cultivation category.
Strain family is a third, independent axis
Indica, Hybrid, and Sativa are conventional strain-family classifications. Plain Jane displays them separately from grade and bud size so customers can browse without treating one label as a complete description of the flower—or as a guaranteed effect.
Product and batch information
Flower is an agricultural product, and batches can vary. Product pages show the current sizes, price, availability, photography, classification, and available laboratory information for the item. When a certificate of analysis or batch report is linked, match the product name, batch or lot identifier, and report date before relying on the result.
A report for one batch should not be treated as a report for a different harvest or later product.
US-based service
Plain Jane serves eligible customers in the United States and U.S. territories. Product availability depends on the item and the delivery address entered at checkout. Orders are handled with discreet packaging, and current destination restrictions are maintained in the Shipping Policy.
Plain Jane does not describe every product as eligible everywhere. Clear restrictions are part of straightforward service.
