Genetics and breeding history
Harry Palms developed Black Maple for Bloom Seed Co. by crossing Dulce de Uva with Sherbanger, joining grape dessert richness to a sharper gas-and-pine backbone. The cultivar leans Indica, but its euphoric opening keeps the first act bright before deeper physical relaxation takes over. It feels like dark confectionery with structure: sweet, woody, and fuel-edged, built for evenings that begin with flavor and atmosphere before becoming quieter and more enveloping. Dulce de Uva supplies purple sweetness; Sherbanger adds hard-edged fuel and structure.
Aroma and flavor
Black Maple pours out grape and warm sugar first, then moves into vanilla gelato and a dense seam of diesel gas. Wood and pine appear beneath the cream, drying the sweetness and giving the middle a forested edge. The finish layers purple fruit, cold vanilla, resinous wood, and fuel into a rich profile that remains balanced despite its decadent first impression.
Structure and presentation
The buds are densely covered in pale green to whitish trichomes with visible reddish-brown pistils.

Overall my experience was good... My small bud order of indoor blue nerds came on time and sealed good... buds looked good with no shake at all... The aroma was pretty but mild... The affect was also mild but I did get a light buzz but not as strong as I expected.
The nose is there, just not what stood out. For smalls, their more micros. But virtually no stems attached or loose. It's just all tiny pieces of popcorn. Just bud. All bud. Not as frosty as you hope for, but come on. And the functionality is great. Nice creeper that sits on you without you really realizing how not low you are, and then it rides with you for good lil while. I'd be happy with more, but I'm chasing blueberry now. And plain Jane is my first stop in that search

This is some fire ass bud it didn’t come in dry like some other online THCA vendors. As you can see for the price absolutely beautiful and definitely worth it my customers over high heels for this batch. OMG, hasn't this little weed come a long way since I first smoked around the time of Woodstock. Have to say that as Cannabis use goes the only difference between Hemp & Marijuana is "terminology". So after all the discussion about THC vs THCA, US Legal Loopholes, and how George Washington was a "hemp farmer" it comes down to what matters most... COST. Plain Jane is by far the best supplier of Hemp we have found so far. Its not just the variety of cannabis strains, or their great website that shows THCA levels & bud types, its the fact that they charge prices from the days of Woodstock when "a lid of weed was $30". As a senior citizen I'm tired of seeing ounces at $200-300, it's a weed for god's sake. We grow our own MJ, following our state's guidelines for home cultivation, and buy Hemp (THCA) so life doesnt get to boring smoking the same pot. This Biscotti Hemp is a perfect Hybrid, some with the morning coffee to get you going, and then a bit more before bed to chill you out. Its larger bugs break down well but we notice with Hemp that its quite dry, so you get a bit of powder, and shake from handling. Plan for an ounce of shake after shipping, though Plain Jane does a GREAT job in packaging, and I know packaging. Bagged, then vacuum packed, twice, in two separate bags, and well marked with ingredients, it did not smell at all. You DO need to sign for the package, so be aware of that. Thank you Plane Jane for not being "greedy bastards" and trying to rob the public for "flowering weeds". Yes, we will be back, and also spread the word. Hope you make it through the upcoming vote to close your business by rescheduling Hemp, once again.

Nice little small buds. Smell fills my entire house when I open the bag. Ended up putting it in mason jars. Moisture content was spot on. Smokes great and the sativa feeling makes it a good daytime strain.
Came through the maily quickly, no smell through the box, the amount I ordered, which larger nugs than I expected for a "small nugs" purchase. Smells good, smokes good, not dried out and with humidity pack. Good stuff.

I got the GMO. First impression after opening was the strong aroma that it gave off, smelled just like all the GMO I would grab from dispos in IL. And the freshness of the nugs were perfect, none of it is dry or crumbles. And it smoke incredibly. Overall I give it an 8.7/10. Will definitely be shopping again SOON.
