Cipher Genetics developed Blue Zangria with Maine Trees by crossing Rainbow Zangria with Blue Lobster. Rainbow Zangria brings Thin Mint and Original Z influence, including citrus, dark fruit, candy, and Cookies-style dough. Blue Lobster adds Apples & Bananas and Eye Candy genetics, along with dense resin and the blue-purple flower associated with that parent. Released in 2024, the cross represents a recent fruit-and-gas breeding direction. This indoor small-bud batch is classified as Indica and reports 31.431% THCA.
Aroma and flavor
Blueberry, dark grape, and mixed fruit candy lead the aroma, followed by brighter citrus and a mild floral spice. Creamy dough develops through the middle before dry earth and gas become more prominent. The Blue Lobster side gives the later portion of the profile a heavier resinous quality than the initial candy notes suggest. The flavor follows from berry and citrus into vanilla, herbs, and fuel. This strain is one of the best strains I ever had, the aroma hits you like a train and just a half a bowl or one full bowl can put you on the couch. It can help with anxiety, depression, and increased hunger when needed. But in overall, I absolutely love the color that stands out from this strain and the freshness quality; one of the top five strains on my list to get and Would highly recommend!
This smells amazing 👏 great nose. I loved this one. Flavor is on point, not too sweet but sweet enough. The berry scent and flavor comes through heavy on the grind and exhale. Def another banger! Honestly, I’ve had a great experience with Plain Jane. The quality is good, the pricing is reasonable, and I think the overall value is definitely worth it. Everything has been great so far. My only suggestion would be to expand the selection with some stronger THCA options. I think that would make an already good brand even better and really set them apart in the market. What they currently offer works for me, but I’d definitely love to see them bring more potent options in the future. Looking forward to staying a loyal customer!

Smalls are very small and there seems to be some phenotype variation in the buds with this one. All in all burns pretty damn clean. Smells good, taste good will be sampling more strains!

Another fantastic strain from Plain Jane! The aroma is absolutely mouth-watering, and the smaller buds are so easy to grind that it makes one wonder why people pay more for larger buds of exactly the same quality. And the most important part: They have a very nice high, too. Nice enough that a long, hard day easier to get through, knowing there is a Plain Jane sack waiting at home.
