Forbidden Fruit genetics and breeding history
Forbidden Fruit comes from Cherry Pie × Tangie. That breeding background carries into a grapefruit, tropical, tree fruit, and citrus aromatic direction, giving the cultivar a clear identity beyond the name. Together, those parent lines give Forbidden Fruit its recognizable balance of inherited structure, aromatic contrast, resin character, and modern flower appeal, tying the cultivar's personality directly to the breeding work behind it.
Aroma and flavor
Grapefruit and tropical fruit burst from Forbidden Fruit first, followed by citrus peel, tree fruit, and ripe berry. The opening feels juicy and bright, while the berry gives the middle a darker, rounder sweetness. A finish of tart grapefruit, soft tropical flesh, and berry skin lingers naturally, creating a layered fruit profile that stays fresh even as it grows richer. Grapefruit gives the tropical middle an especially crisp, adult edge.
Experience and setting
An uplifted, happy mood gives Forbidden Fruit a glowing first stretch, making the room feel warmer before its Indica side begins to deepen. Relaxation steadily becomes more physical, and the later hours turn distinctly sleepy as the citrus-bright energy fades. It fits a sunset meal, a tropical playlist, or a quiet evening with someone close, offering enough radiance to begin before the night drifts into a gentler, more private rhythm. The descent retains the glow of the opening instead of erasing it.

Exotic
Love it
It was great got here in 3 days
Great quality and size buds
Everything about this company and their products is amazing and above and beyond! Tissue paper wrapped products in a nice box every order. Quick processing of every order. And the flower, holy shit! It’s ALL exotic! I’m a lifelong, 30 plus years smoking, and I smoke a lot. Unlike other online companies, where every strain tastes the same and is dried out, Plain Jane nails it! I have a terminal illness, and smoke medicinally and for fun, and they have incredible products!
